With the grace of Almighty and blessings of Baba Iqbal singh ji students of Akal Academy, Gomtipul and A.A.Unnao jointly celebrated the “Prakash Purab” of Sri Guru Nanak Devji at A.A.Unnao with full enthusiasm and joy.

The Programme started well with Paath of Japji Sahib and Shabad recitation “Baba Akhe Hajiyan” by Sukhmanpreet Kaur, Gurminder Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur of A.A.Gomtipul later on “Baaz Guru Duba Jag Sara” by Kamaldeep Kaur, Navdeep Kaur and Arshdeep Kaur and later recitation of “Satgur Nanak Pargatya” by Harpreet Kaur, Mahakjeet Kaur and Sumandeep Kaur. Sanampreet Singh of A.A.Gomtipul gave them Sangat on tabla during Shabad recitation.

Later Shabad Kirtan and poem recitation took place where the little shining stars of A.A.Unnao showed their impressive and confident performances in front of Sangat. Kirtani Jattha from Kanpur spread the flower of religious Kirtan in their melodious voice. At last Kavishri was presented by Gurpal Singh, Lovedeep Singh and Simarjeet Singh, a performance highly appreciated by the Sangat. Teachers also played a major role in the celebrations where Ragi Veerji S. Kewal Singh and Music Teacher of A.A.Gomtipul S. Surinderpal Singh along with Jorawar Singh recited the Gurbani in their impressive way of presentation.

Presence of influential personalities such as Dr. Joginder Singh Ji, Sardar Sukhdev Singh Ji and S. Harbhajan Singhji (Laungapuria), S. Kartar Singh Ladi, S. Chanan Singh (Fauji), S. Sajjan Singh further added glory to this program that were highly appreciative of the commendable work done by the students. S. Jaswant Singh Ji welcomed the Sikh Sangat whole heartedly and thanked everyone. He also honoured them with Siropas to respective people along with the participants.

S. Rajwansh Singh honoured the staff members Ms. Anjali, Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Mr. Surinderpal Singh of A.A. Gomtipul with Siropas and highly appreciated the performance of students of A.A.Gomtipul and A.A.Unnao. Mrs. Rangbir Kaur, Cluster head of the Academies (U.P.) extended full co-operation and encouraged the staff as well as the students to give their best. She thanked the parents for sparing their valuable time to come to school to see the programme and encouraged children and staff members.
