Rural Education Revolution
The Kalgidhar Society is a multifaceted, not for profit charitable organization working for the cause of promoting moral based quality education, women empowerment, primary health, social welfare & spiritual uplift to underprivileged/deprived rural masses in far-flung rural areas of North India. It has been instrumental in bringing about silent but sure reforms to uplift the socio-economic status of the rural poor in the areas covered. |

Financial Literacy Programs for Women
Uneducated and unemployed women are given vocational training under the supervision of expert professionals in the field of cutting, tailoring, stitching and embroidery. These trainees include widows, divorcees, married and unmarried women. Apart from this training, they are given spirituality lessons to be able to recite on the Divine Name. |

Charitable Hospital
A 250-bed Charitable Hospital at Baru Sahib in Himachal Pradesh, where free of cost healthcare facilities are provided to underprivileged rural and hilly people, virtually at their doorsteps. This hospital caters to the medical needs of patients covering an area of a radius of 100 Km. It caters to about 150 patients daily at its OPD. In addition to the routine medical and surgical services, emergencies of all kinds are also attended. |

Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers
The Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers are helping in eradicating vices amongst the rural folk and bringing down the crime rate, conflicts, litigations etc amongst these sections. The alcohol free movement under the pattern of the 'Alcoholics Anonymous' is proving as a saviour against marital discords and exploitation of the womenfolk. |
