At just 9 years old, he was inspired to give back to the country that welcomed them, deciding early on to join the US Army.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Joining_the_Ranks_%E2%80%93_The_Beginning_of_a_Military_Career\"><\/span>Joining the Ranks &#8211; The Beginning of a Military Career<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In 2009, right after high school, Davinder enlisted in the US Army. He completed his boot camp and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, laying the foundation for his military career.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Service_Across_the_Globe\"><\/span>Service Across the Globe<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Davinder&#8217;s active duty service took him to various locations, including Yongsan, Camp Casey, and Daegu in South Korea. His experience expanded further with training at Fort Drum, New York, and his stationing at the NCO Academy Training Center.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Achievements_and_Honors\"><\/span>Achievements and Honors<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>During his active duty, Davinder was recognized for his exceptional service, receiving two Army Achievement Medals.
