A white American lady greeted him with the Sikh greeting, \u201cVaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh!\u201d Surprised and curious, Bhai Jatinder asked how she knew the Sikh greeting and about Sikhs in general. What followed was a revelation that would leave him astounded.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Fathers_Repeated_Dream_%E2%80%93_%E2%80%9CNitnem%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>The Father\u2019s Repeated Dream &#8211; &#8220;Nitnem&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The lady explained that after her father\u2019s passing, she began experiencing recurring dreams. In these dreams, her father would appear and repeatedly say \u201cNitnem.\u201d Initially, the woman was confused and thought he might be saying \u201cNitwit,\u201d a term for a fool. However, as the dreams continued, she realized the importance of the word \u201cNitnem,\u201d which led her to explore its meaning.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Discovering_Nitnem_and_Sikhism\"><\/span>Discovering Nitnem and Sikhism<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Through her research, the lady discovered that \u201cNitnem\u201d refers to the daily Sikh prayers recited by Sikhs. She learned about the spiritual significance of Nitnem and its role in daily life.
