His dedication is evident in his rigorous daily practice of three hours at a private shooting range.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t Zorawar\u2019s first taste of success. He previously won a silver medal at the National School Shooting Championship in Pune in 2013 and a bronze medal at the Punjab State Shooting Championship in 2014.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Team_Punjabi_University_%E2%80%93_A_Trio_of_Talent\"><\/span>Team Punjabi University &#8211; A Trio of Talent<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Zorawar earned his spot on the Punjabi University air rifle shooting team through competitive trials held in December 2015. He joined forces with teammates Harmanvir Singh and Ekambir Singh to represent the university at the inter-university event.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Legacy_of_Sporting_Excellence\"><\/span>A Legacy of Sporting Excellence<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Zorawar\u2019s achievements are a testament to his family\u2019s rich sporting legacy. His grandfather, Baldev Singh Brar, was an international-level athlete and Kabaddi player who set a long-standing discus throw record for Indian Railways. Brar also held the inter-university discus throw record in 1959, representing Panjab University.<\/p>\n<p>Zorawar\u2019s father, Kanwal Preet Singh Brar, followed in his father\u2019s footsteps, excelling in athletics at the international level. He made history by becoming the first student of Government Rajindra College to win a gold medal in discus throw at the All India Inter University Athletics Championship in 1983.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Zorawar\u2019s grandfather expressed immense pride, predicting an even brighter future for his grandson. \u201cZorawar will bring laurels to the country in shooting,\u201d he said with confidence.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Zorawar Singh\u2019s journey is an inspiring tale of perseverance, discipline, and family legacy.
