Baba Iqbal Singh resolved to dedicate his life to creating a better world. His mother\u2019s storytelling and admiration for Guru Angad Dev Ji deeply inspired his path.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Career_Dedicated_to_Service\"><\/span>A Career Dedicated to Service<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>From serving as a Research Inspector to becoming Director of Agriculture, Baba Iqbal Singh made significant contributions while staying committed to his spiritual journey.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Founding_Baru_Sahib-_A_Vision_Realized\"><\/span>Founding Baru Sahib- A Vision Realized<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Post-retirement, Baba Iqbal Singh turned his attention to fulfilling his mentor\u2019s dream by founding Baru Sahib. Starting with a single classroom in 1986, the initiative has grown into 129 CBSE-affiliated Akal Academies and two universities, benefiting around 60,000 rural children.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Empowering_Women_through_Education\"><\/span>Empowering Women through Education<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Baba Iqbal Singh launched teacher training programs for young women, providing free training and employment opportunities to over 2,000 girls, empowering them through education and skills.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Recognition_and_Global_Influence\"><\/span>Recognition and Global Influence<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In 2013, Baba Iqbal Singh was named the fifth most influential Sikh by the UK\u2019s Top 100 Sikh Organization.
