Her father could not have imagined the passion his daughter held for solving problems and creating solutions. Shawini always believed:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cSuccess is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Transformative_Beginning\"><\/span>A Transformative Beginning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Shawini\u2019s journey began when she was admitted to L.K.G. at Akal Academy Muktsar Sahib. Over the next 11 years, she embraced a life of growth and learning, discovering her spiritual side alongside her academic pursuits. At Akal Academy, she learned the importance of self-reflection, the power of forgiveness, and the virtues of confession\u2014values that shaped her character as she matured.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pursuing_Ambitions_with_Determination\"><\/span>Pursuing Ambitions with Determination<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After completing her Class XII, Shawini set her sights on engineering and successfully cleared the challenging entrance exams for Thapar University, where she pursued a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. Her determination was unshakable, as she recalls:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cNo one can stop you if you have a success plan. Break all obstacles, and even your critics will say, \u2018Congrats, you are a champ.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stepping_into_Service\"><\/span>Stepping into Service<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With God\u2019s blessings, Shawini cracked the highly competitive SSC civil exams in 2014. This achievement marked the beginning of her journey to serve society. Today, she works as an Assistant Section Officer in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MEFC), focusing on policies that safeguard the planet.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Gratitude_to_Her_Roots\"><\/span>Gratitude to Her Roots<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Shawini credits her success to the foundation laid by Akal Academy Muktsar Sahib. She shares:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe school polished me in ways that taught me time management and spiritual discipline. These lessons helped me overcome obstacles and take bold steps toward my goals. I owe my gratitude to my Principal, Sukhraj Ma\u2019am, who transformed the school environment and inspired me to stay positive and resilient. I also thank N.C. Gupta Sir, whose mathematics lessons fueled my passion for learning. Akal Academy taught me the truth of life, the value of hard work, and the importance of spirituality.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Champion_for_Climate_Change\"><\/span>A Champion for Climate Change<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Today, Shawini works tirelessly to ensure the safety and sustainability of our planet. Who could have imagined that a young girl from a rural town in Muktsar would grow up to become a policymaker tackling climate change?<\/p>\n<p>Her journey is a shining example of how determination, values, and education can transform dreams into reality.
