A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Simrandeep&#8217;s dedication to his studies and his passion for Punjabi Literature played a key role in his success, as he chose it as his optional subject for the Civil Services exam.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Additional_Achievements_and_Academic_Background\"><\/span>Additional Achievements and Academic Background<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Simrandeep, 28, also succeeded in the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) exams this year. He completed his MBA last year and is now focusing on a career in the civil services.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Supportive_Family_Encouragement\"><\/span>Supportive Family Encouragement<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>His supportive family has been instrumental in his achievements. His father, Ajaib Singh, an Ayurvedic medicine practitioner, and his mother, Paramjit Kaur, a Government school Arts teacher, encouraged him to pursue his UPSC goals. Simrandeep\u2019s wife, Manpreet Kaur, an MBA graduate, is also a significant support in his journey.
