Students enthusiastically participated, displaying their creativity and analytical skills.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"International_Womens_Day_Celebration\"><\/span>International Women\u2019s Day Celebration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On March 8, the event marked International Women\u2019s Day with a thought-provoking debate on the topic \u201cJust like Housewives, we need Househusbands,\u201d challenging traditional gender roles. Additionally, 156 students took part in the Picture Response Competition, showcasing their interpretative skills.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Platform_for_Intelligence_and_Creativity\"><\/span>A Platform for Intelligence and Creativity<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>March 9 saw students engaging in Quiz and Caption Writing competitions, allowing them to express their wit and creativity.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Grand_Finale_with_Kavi_Darbar_and_Special_Lecture\"><\/span>Grand Finale with Kavi Darbar and Special Lecture<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The festival will conclude on March 10 with a Kavi Darbar and a special lecture by renowned Punjabi poet Gurpreet, a Prof. Mohan Singh Awardee, inspiring students with his literary insights.<\/p>\n<p>Literary Patchwork\u201917 is more than just a festival\u2014it is a celebration of literature, creativity, and intellectual exploration, making Akal University a hub for literary excellence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Literary Society of the Department of English and Punjabi at Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, is hosting Literary Patchwork\u201917 from March 6\u201310, 2017.
