The competition is set to take place in Ordu, Turkey, from September 17 to 24.<\/p>\n<p>Kaur, trained by coach Khalid Hussain and her brother Harry Dhillon, follows in the footsteps of fellow Telford fighter Akash Tuqir, who reached the finals in the previous year.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Bright_Start_%E2%80%93_Simran_Kaurs_International_Debut\"><\/span>A Bright Start &#8211; Simran Kaur&#8217;s International Debut<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before making her mark internationally, Kaur participated in a selection camp at the English Institute of Sport and debuted at the age range. Her first international appearance will be during the August Bank Holiday when she competes against Ireland, boxing two bouts as a warm-up for the European Championships.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Praise_from_Coaches_%E2%80%93_Kaurs_Exceptional_Dedication\"><\/span>Praise from Coaches &#8211;\u00a0 Kaur\u2019s Exceptional Dedication<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Both Hussain and Dhillon express immense pride in Kaur\u2019s dedication to boxing. Hussain, known for coaching boxers from the Telford area, considers her the hardest-working boxer he has trained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe does everything right \u2014 training, diet, sleep, and rest. She lives a clean life with no distractions, and that\u2019s what sets her apart,\u201d said Hussain. He believes Kaur has the full package: excellent footwork, quick movements, and a strong jab.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Aiming_for_the_Gold_%E2%80%93_Simrans_Goals_for_the_Euros_and_Beyond\"><\/span>Aiming for the Gold &#8211; Simran&#8217;s Goals for the Euros and Beyond<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kaur\u2019s conditioning and aggressive boxing style have impressed selectors, making her a strong contender for the gold medal in Turkey. With her dedication, Kaur aims to continue her upward trajectory, possibly even competing at the Olympic Games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Simran is ahead of where she should be for her age and experience,&#8221; said Hussain. &#8220;I would bet on her going to the Olympics!&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Friendly_Rivalry_%E2%80%93_Kaur_vs_Savannah_Stubley\"><\/span>Friendly Rivalry &#8211; Kaur vs. Savannah Stubley<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kaur was selected for the Euros ahead of Savannah Stubley, who will now serve as the reserve in the junior section at 46kg. Though Kaur and Stubley have not yet faced each other in the ring, a fight between the two is expected soon. Kaur, who recently defeated Ciara O&#8217;Brien at the Hull Box Cup, is focused on maintaining her winning streak.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Inspired_by_Tuqirs_Success\"><\/span>Inspired by Tuqir&#8217;s Success<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kaur draws inspiration from fellow Telford boxer Akash Tuqir, who claimed a Euro gold medal at 52kg in 2015.
