It was under this sacred Ber tree that he also performed a remarkable healing, curing Nawab Wazir Khan of Lahore.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nawab_Wazir_Khans_Illness_and_Search_for_a_Cure\"><\/span>Nawab Wazir Khan\u2019s Illness and Search for a Cure<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Nawab Wazir Khan, the Governor of Lahore, suffered from a severe case of dropsy. Despite efforts by the royal Hakims and Vaids, his condition worsened. In desperation, he sought guidance from his servants, who informed him about the divine presence of Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Amritsar.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Seeking_Blessings_from_Guru_Arjan_Dev_Ji\"><\/span>Seeking Blessings from Guru Arjan Dev Ji<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Determined to find relief, Nawab Wazir Khan traveled to Amritsar and paid his respects to Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The Guru, instead of offering a cure directly, advised him to visit Baba Budha Ji, a saintly figure residing under the Ber tree near the Sarovar.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Baba_Budha_Jis_Initial_Refusal\"><\/span>Baba Budha Ji\u2019s Initial Refusal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Upon meeting Baba Budha Ji, Wazir Khan explained his illness and relayed Guru Arjan Dev Ji\u2019s message. However, Baba Budha Ji humbly declined, insisting that only the Guru possessed the divine power to heal. Disappointed, Wazir Khan returned to the Guru and narrated the response.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Gurus_Divine_Guidance\"><\/span>The Guru\u2019s Divine Guidance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Guru Arjan Dev Ji smiled and advised Wazir Khan to approach Baba Budha Ji with humility\u2014not as a powerful ruler but as a devoted seeker. Taking this advice to heart, Wazir Khan returned to Baba Budha Ji, bowed in reverence, and politely requested his help.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Miraculous_Healing\"><\/span>The Miraculous Healing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Baba Budha Ji then instructed Wazir Khan to lie on the ground with his face upwards. He called for a bag full of mud, which he placed on Wazir Khan\u2019s stomach. Although he felt some pain initially, within minutes, the disease vanished completely.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wazir_Khans_Transformation_and_Devotion\"><\/span>Wazir Khan\u2019s Transformation and Devotion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Grateful for the miraculous recovery, Wazir Khan thanked Baba Budha Ji repeatedly. In return, Baba Budha Ji gifted him a Gutka (prayer book) of Sukhmani Sahib and advised him to listen to its recitation daily.
