Their finances come solely from volunteer donations.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Following_the_Sikh_Principle_of_Daswandh\"><\/span>Following the Sikh Principle of Daswandh<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Inspired by the Sikh tradition of Daswandh\u2014donating one-tenth of earnings to charity\u2014volunteers not only contribute financially but also dedicate their time and effort to preparing and serving meals.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cooking_and_Serving_with_Love\"><\/span>Cooking and Serving with Love<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Every week, volunteers and their families gather at a community center to cook nutritious meals, including pasta, noodles, rice, and curries, ensuring the homeless receive healthy and warm food.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Serving_Without_Discrimination\"><\/span>Serving Without Discrimination<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Manpreet emphasizes that the initiative is not about promoting Sikhism but about practicing Sikh values\u2014serving humanity selflessly.
