The event was held in the main auditorium of Eternal University and featured expert sessions by faculty members from Drexel University.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eminent_Delegates_from_Drexel_University\"><\/span>Eminent Delegates from Drexel University<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The workshop was led by distinguished delegates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dona \u2013<\/strong> Ph.D. student and Assistant Clinical Professor in Critical &amp; Emergency Care<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Brien \u2013<\/strong> Assistant Clinical Professor in Emergency &amp; Community Care<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Elizabeth Richard \u2013<\/strong> Assistant Clinical Professor specializing in Cardiothoracic &amp; ICU Care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, seven students and one faculty member from Murari Lal Memorial College of Nursing attended the workshop.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_1_Sessions_on_Cardiac_Respiratory_Care\"><\/span>Day 1: Sessions on Cardiac &amp; Respiratory Care<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur (Principal, Akal College of Nursing), followed by a spiritual Shabad Kirtan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Dona\u2019s Session on Cardiac Disorders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Covered Angina Pectoris, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Shock, and Heart Failure<\/li>\n<li>Discussed clinical symptoms, diagnostic tests, and management strategies<\/li>\n<li>Engaged students with interactive Q&amp;A sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prof. Elizabeth\u2019s Session on Respiratory Disorders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focused on Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and Mechanical Ventilation<\/li>\n<li>Explained various ventilation modes and prevention of Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prof. Brien\u2019s Case Study on Myocardial Infarction &amp; Shock<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presented a real-life case study with ICU images<\/li>\n<li>Explained the clinical course and emergency interventions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_2_Trauma_Care_Diabetic_Emergencies_GI_Disorders\"><\/span>Day 2: Trauma Care, Diabetic Emergencies &amp; GI Disorders<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The second day covered critical topics related to trauma care, diabetic emergencies, and gastrointestinal disorders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Brien\u2019s Session on Trauma Emergencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discussed Chest Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Burns, Pneumothorax, and Hemothorax<\/li>\n<li>Explained patient assessment and emergency management<\/li>\n<li>Focused on the Rule of Nine and Parkland Formula for burn treatment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prof. Elizabeth\u2019s Session on Diabetes &amp; Acute Kidney Injury<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Covered Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)<\/strong> and <strong>Hyperglycemic Hyperosmolar Syndrome (HHS)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Explained the pathophysiology and management of renal failure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prof. Brien\u2019s Session on GI &amp; Hepatobiliary Disorders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focused on GI bleeding, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Cirrhosis, and Pancreatitis<\/li>\n<li>Discussed diagnosis and treatment approaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Closing_Ceremony_Expert_Insights\"><\/span>Closing Ceremony &amp; Expert Insights<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony.
