Over <strong>1,345<\/strong> lives were lost, <strong>2,000 people<\/strong> went<strong> missing,<\/strong> and <strong>36,000 homes<\/strong> were destroyed. The region was left in ruins, with thousands struggling to survive.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Arrival_of_Sant_Baba_Iqbal_Singh_Ji\"><\/span>The Arrival of Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Amidst the devastation, <strong>Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji<\/strong> of <strong>The Kalgidhar Society, Baru Sahib<\/strong>, stepped in. Without delay, he mobilized a team of masons, plumbers, electricians, and dedicated sevadaars. Their mission was clear\u2014<strong>rebuild homes<\/strong>, <strong>schools, places of worship<\/strong>, and restore normalcy before the harsh winter arrived.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_Rebuilding_Lives_%E2%80%93_A_Mission_of_Strength_and_Service\"><\/span>\u00a0Rebuilding Lives &#8211; A Mission of Strength and Service<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For 70 days, the team worked tirelessly, investing <strong>\u20b92.25 crores into relief efforts<\/strong>. They provided 1,850 homes worth of materials, repaired the <strong>Army Library, Training School<\/strong>, <strong>Canteen,<\/strong> and even restored the<strong> ancient Pandav Temple<\/strong>.
