124th Akal Academy Foundation Laid in Jind<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In a significant step towards transforming rural education in North India, the foundation stone of the <strong>124th Akal Academy<\/strong> was laid on <strong>17th October<\/strong> at <strong>Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Tehsil Safidon (Jind), Haryana.<\/strong> The ceremony was graced by <strong>Baba Iqbal Singh Ji,<\/strong> <strong>President of The Kalgidhar Trust<\/strong> and <strong>Chancellor of Eternal University, Baru Sahib.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"_A_Sacred_Gift_of_Land_by_Gurdwara_Committee\"><\/span>\u00a0A Sacred Gift of Land by Gurdwara Committee<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The land for this noble cause was generously donated by the Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee of Sacha Sauda. A total of 4 acres was offered to the Kalgidhar Trust to help establish a center for value-based and spiritually enriched education for rural children.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Spiritually_Charged_Inauguration_Ceremony\"><\/span>Spiritually Charged Inauguration Ceremony<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The inauguration was marked by soulful Kirtan performances by students of <strong>Akal Academy Balbhera<\/strong> and <strong>Sewak Kirtaniyas<\/strong> from Gurdwara Cheema Sahib, who filled the atmosphere with devotion and divine music.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Baba_Iqbal_Singh_Jis_Inspiring_Address\"><\/span>Baba Iqbal Singh Ji\u2019s Inspiring Address<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>During his address, Baba Iqbal Singh Ji highlighted the rising challenges faced by today\u2019s youth, especially drug and alcohol addiction, and emphasized the need for spiritual education alongside worldly learning. He said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe aim to provide children not just academic knowledge but also spiritual grounding so they grow up as responsible, God-fearing individuals who walk on the path of truth and virtue.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Vision_Becoming_Reality_%E2%80%93_Expansion_of_Akal_Academies\"><\/span>A Vision Becoming Reality &#8211; Expansion of Akal Academies<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Currently, <strong>129 Akal Academies<\/strong> are functioning or under development across <strong>6,450 villages<\/strong>. Out of these, <strong>117 academies<\/strong> are operational, while 12 are under construction.
