Teachers and students were divided into essential task forces, each with a critical role to play:-<br \/>\n\u2022 Fire Alarm Team<br \/>\n\u2022 Search &amp; Rescue Unit<br \/>\n\u2022 Evacuation Team<br \/>\n\u2022 Site Safety Monitors<br \/>\n\u2022 Transportation Crew<br \/>\n\u2022 Media Management Team<br \/>\nThis multi-team structure taught students coordination, leadership, and the importance of quick, clear communication skills that are invaluable in any crisis.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Real_Tools_Real_Learning\"><\/span>Real Tools, Real Learning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Mr. Pardeep Singh (PET)<\/strong> kickstarted the drill by training students on how to safely operate fire extinguishers. He also explained how to identify which type of extinguisher to use an essential detail that can save lives during emergencies. <strong>Mr. Ashok Singh Guleria<\/strong> elevated the learning experience by demonstrating practical rescue techniques. Students observed how to improvise during crisis conditions and evacuate affected individuals without panic. His demonstration brought theoretical safety education to life with real-time simulation and methodical clarity.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Leadership_that_Empowers\"><\/span>Leadership that Empowers<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Principal <strong>Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind<\/strong> praised the collective effort of staff and students.<br \/>\nAwareness is the first step to safety. Today, the students learn how to led. They proved that preparedness is about discipline and dedication. Special appreciation was extended to teachers <strong>Mr. Gurmukh Singh<\/strong>, <strong>Mr. Dineshwar Dutt<\/strong>, <strong>Mr. Sudhir<\/strong>, and <strong>Mr. Phillip Xavier<\/strong>, whose coordination and commitment ensured the activity\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_This_Drill_Matters\"><\/span>Why This Drill Matters?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This school event was a life skill workshop in action. By experiencing realistic fire scenarios and understanding their roles, students now carry the knowledge and confidence to act wisely during actual emergencies.<br \/>\nThey learned:-<br \/>\n\u2022 The anatomy of a disaster response plan<br \/>\n\u2022 How to remain calm under pressure<br \/>\n\u2022 The role of communication and collaboration in crisis management<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lighting_the_Path_Forward\"><\/span>Lighting the Path Forward<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The fire drill at <strong>Akal Academy Kajri<\/strong> set a powerful example of how schools can transform safety education into an engaging and empowering experience.
