On April 22, 2016, students turned artists, activists, and ambassadors for change, proving that age is no bar when it comes to saving the planet.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Poster_Model_Making\"><\/span>Poster &amp; Model Making<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The day began with a burst of creativity as students from various classes participated enthusiastically in poster making and model creation activities. Each stroke of color and each carefully built model told a story of nature\u2019s beauty, of its suffering, and of what we must do to protect it.<br \/>\nNoteworthy contributions came from:-<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022<\/strong> <em><strong>Amritpal Singh (9E)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>\u2022 Gurkaran Singh &amp; Gurpreet Singh (9B)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>\u2022 Jibin Josekutty (9E)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>\u2022 Reni Philip (8C)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>\u2022 Yashi Mishra &amp; Simrandeep Kaur (9C)<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>\u2022 Rajdeep Kaur<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nTheir posters and placards stood as vibrant reminders of the role youth must play in preserving Mother Earth.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Rally_for_Reality_%E2%80%93_Spreading_Awareness_in_the_Community\"><\/span>A Rally for Reality &#8211; Spreading Awareness in the Community<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With hearts full of purpose and hands holding slogan placards, students took out a rally through nearby areas to raise awareness about the environmental issues threatening our planet. Shouts of <strong>\u201cGo Green\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cSay No to Plastic\u201d<\/strong> echoed through the streets as passersby stopped to listen, smile, and applaud.<br \/>\nThe community felt the impact and the students felt empowered.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Leading_with_Heart\"><\/span>Leading with Heart<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Classes 9 and 10 extended their support not only through creative efforts but also through active participation in planning and execution. Teachers stood shoulder to shoulder with students to make this event a success.<br \/>\nA special thanks goes to:-<br \/>\n<strong>\u2022<em> Mr. Ashok Singh Guleria<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u2022 Mr. Vattanpreet Singh<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u2022 Mr. Philip Xavier<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nTheir guidance made this environmental celebration a meaningful learning experience.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_the_Principals_Desk\"><\/span>From the Principal\u2019s Desk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind,<\/strong> Principal of <strong>Akal Academy, Kajri,<\/strong> addressed the students with a heartfelt message that Every small action counts. Your posters, your rally, your voices they\u2019re shaping a greener future. Let\u2019s not stop here. Let\u2019s continue this mission every day, in every way possible.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Green_Reminder_to_All\"><\/span>A Green Reminder to All<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This <strong>Earth Day<\/strong> was an inspiring event. A movement led by students who believe in action over apathy.
