Students distributed free saplings to shopkeepers and homes, urging them to plant trees in their surroundings.<br \/>\nThe message was <strong>\u201cLet\u2019s heal not just our people, but also our planet.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nThe effort tied in with <strong>The Kalgidhar Trust\u2019s<\/strong> initiatives, which include free drug de-addiction centres and a strong push towards environmental care.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_Dhotian_to_Taran_Taran_Sahib\"><\/span>From Dhotian to Taran Taran Sahib<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The rally began in <strong>Akal Academy, Dhotian<\/strong> and wound its way through <strong>Sairon<\/strong> and <strong>Rohi,<\/strong> passing bustling markets at <strong>Borhi Wala Chowk<\/strong> before concluding at the sacred <strong>Darbar Sahib Gurdwara<\/strong> in <strong>Taran Taran.<\/strong> Along the way, they reached not only the ears but also the hearts of villagers and shopkeepers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Principals_Vision\"><\/span>Principal\u2019s Vision<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are looking forward to organizing such rally drives twice or thrice every year,\u201d<\/em><br \/>\nsaid <strong>Ms. Kuljeet Kaur <\/strong><em>\u201cThese children are not just learning about change they\u2019re becoming the change.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_This_Matters\"><\/span>Why This Matters<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>These young students have shown that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference.
