But sometimes, a single act of kindness can change the course of a child\u2019s life.<br \/>\nThis is the heartwarming story of a young student of <strong>Akal Academy,<\/strong> whose dreams were reignited by the compassion of a kind soul <strong>Amandeep Uncle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the story related in his own words:<\/p>\n<p><em>I have been really lucky to find a generous and kind person like you, <strong>Amandeep Uncle<\/strong>, who has been kind enough to pay the education expenses for me.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>My father, being a Granthi Singh, is earning such a small amount that it is difficult to meet the day to day expenses.<br \/>\nEducation, till the time I got your support, seemed to me a dream un-attainable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I was admitted in Akal Academy under free education scheme for Granthi Singh&#8217;s kids<br \/>\nbut Academy can not bear the expenses of all the kids enrolled under this scheme,<br \/>\nsince several kids are enrolled to provide education. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Your support has come to me like a boon.<br \/>\nNow everything looks bright. &#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Blessing_in_Disguise\"><\/span>A Blessing in Disguise<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Under <strong>The Kalgidhar Trust\u2019s Free Education Scheme for children of Granthi Singhs,<\/strong> this young learner was able to get admission at <strong>Akal Academy.<\/strong> However, with many children in need and limited resources, not all educational expenses could be covered.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s when <strong>Amandeep Uncle<\/strong> stepped in a true embodiment of sewa and selflessness.
