Guided by her mother, Rajwinder Kaur, she focused on pulling her family out of poverty and abuse. In this program, she received free education and training to become a teacher, equipping her with the comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to meet the demands of a 21st-century educator.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Journey_of_Learning_and_Leadership\"><\/span>A Journey of Learning and Leadership<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Today when she looks back on how lucky she was as she not only was the part of first batch of this program at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airwe.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">AIRWE &#8211; Akal Institute of Rural Women Empowerment<\/a>,<\/strong> but she ended well by scoring <strong>70%<\/strong> in her finals and was given a title of top scholar of that batch.<br \/>\nThis program not only helped her earn a living for her family but gave her a strong base of values which was imbibed in her.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Today, she looks back on how fortunate she was. She was not only <strong>part of the first batch of this program at the AIRWE (Akal Institute of Rural Women Empowerment)<\/strong>, but she also <strong>excelled, scoring 70%<\/strong> in her finals and earning the<strong> title of top scholar of her batch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transforming_Her_Familys_Future\"><\/span>Transforming Her Family\u2019s Future<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This program not only helped her earn a living for her family but also gave her a strong foundation of values. She became a driving force in helping her father, Sukhbir Singh, find a path out of alcoholism.\u00a0While she still needs to keep a constant watch over her father, her career has progressed. She switched to a <strong>school in Amritsar<\/strong> and is now <strong>working as a coordinator for the Junior High School.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Tireless_Advocate_for_Change-_for_Education_and_Women_Empowerment\"><\/span>A Tireless Advocate for Change- for Education , and Women Empowerment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With a strong work ethic, she strives daily to cover the living expenses that fall on her shoulders. <strong>Even after school hours, she takes time to teach English to children living in her vicinity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She is deeply indebted to the Trust that helped her succeed and become a ray of hope for her family and her sister, Rajkanwalpreet. She has become a tireless advocate for all women to work with passion and energy, helping each one find themselves in a position to &#8220;OPT OUT&#8221; by pursuing their passions rather than be &#8220;PUSHED OUT&#8221; by the daily ordeals of life, in which one can easily lose one&#8217;s own identity.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dream_Believe_Act\"><\/span>Dream, Believe, Act.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The truth is that one needs to DREAM, transform those dreams into THOUGHTS, and then turn those thoughts into ACTION.
