There are some people who once decide to commit, give it all it takes to reach their destiny. For them the option of giving up doesn’t exist. Wise people say God helps those who help themselves. This is absolutely true but there’s no doubt that God also helps those who help others.

Divine souls on earth have created many examples who have been successful with the power of spirituality and enthusiasm. One such soul was Harmeet Singh an alumnus of Akal Academy, Baru Sahib.

The blessed soul was born in a gursikh family in Preet Vihar, New Delhi. In the dark age of Kalyug, the kid grew up in the paradise of spiritualism and it was a matter of pride for the parents see him nurtured in that atmosphere.

He was initially admitted to Guru Harkrishan Public School in New Delhi. The kid was bright and active. His activities at school had a positive influence on other students. He was good at cricket and was an intelligent child.

After completing his 10th in Delhi his father decided to send him to Akal Academy, Baru Sahib. The valley of divine peace matched his serene persona. Harmeet pursued his 11th standard in Commerce with Maths in Baru Sahib. He experienced a blissful state of mind at the divine valley as he could easily adapt & absorb its vibes. Those two years were the best of his life. He got everything he desired at Baru Sahib. These spiritual values would take him far ahead in life. And it was only possible because God had held his hand.

Harmeet wanted to become a Chartered Accountant. To take a step forward towards his goal, he went to Indira Gandhi National Open University to pursue his graduation in B.Com (Accounting Finance).

Baru Sahib had not only ingrained values of hardwork but only touched upon the concept of humanity. These values were evident in his lifestyle as he took up many social works like arranged schooling for many slum area kids.

Not only this, he also taught accountancy to 11th and 12th students. Currently, he is pursuing his final level of C.A and will be working as a C.A in the place which shaped his mindset in service of humanity.

‘Helping others is the biggest definition of humanity which we call ‘Sewa‘ in Gurmukhi language. Not much people have this habit to sacrifice their life helping others. But, those who do are real heroes.

Let your light shine so brightly that others can see their way out of the dark.
