2020: FAITH HEALED
2020 has been a YEAR of REFLECTION and Reckoning For All OF US. A Year of SHOWING COMPASSION, CARE and CONSIDERATIONS like never before. Humanity, the world over has been put to test of utmost patience, resilience and service to care for one and all. I, Thank you all from the very core of my heart for being 100% Faith Positive and enabling us to be available for our 70,000 students and their families, serving them the directions of Hon’ble Baba Ji in these difficult times.
With not a single COVID-19 positive case reported in this valley of Divine Peace at Baru Sahib, also the extended family of your Kalgidhar Society, this was spiritual healing at its best. Baru Sahib and Akal Academies across north India, continued BANI Prasaar AND Prasaad, keeping the entire family Hale and Hearty in Body, Mind and Spirit.
Our volunteers, paying homage to the brave soldiers from Punjab, martyred at the Galwaan Valley at the Indo-China border and extending support to their families, is all about love, compassion and healing by your Positive Faith. Baru Sahib has also come forward and taken up the responsibility of educating the children of the farmers who are martyred during the ongoing Farmer Protest 2020.
I would like to make a special mention of the fabulous work done by our teachers during the lockdown. Your Akal Academies were the first in the country to take to online teaching. From mid-March till now, 6,60,000 hours have been spent by our 3600 teachers, keeping the 70,000 eager minds always engaged. Results of two major ONLINE assessment tests undertaken is giving us the confidence that we are ready for giving education THE NEW NORMAL WAY.

Lockdown of states, could not limit the 129 Akal Academies, Akal University and Eternal University. Teachers and students welcomed the new – online learning, where the school bells chimed as Whatsapp, Zoom and Google Meet classes.
Sensing the limitations of lockdown, Hon’ble Babaji inspired our teachers and Blessed the students to continue with their learning, because they knew not acted upon today will be an unpardonable excuse for life.

Our Akal Nursing College and Akal Charitable Hospital undertook a massive mass health education programme to keep the panchayat lana bhatla and Baru Sahib Campus pandemic free. The pandemic control protocols developed were not only world class but were worked with the villagers to achieve 100% Health, 0% Virus.
The highlight of these protocols being integrating Mental and Dental Health in mass health education for pandemic control.
