Construction of Classrooms at Akal Academy Habri (5 Classrooms) and Akal Academy  Bhunsla (3 Classrooms), Haryana with RCC Frame Structure including all civil, finishing, plumbing, and electrical works as per the approved drawings and detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for The Kalgidhar Society.

The Kalgidhar Society – Baru Sahib established in 1956, has been working tirelessly towards transforming the lives of children through the tool of value-based high-quality education.

In its quest of fighting drugs with books, the Society has established 130 low cost CBSE schools and 2 universities in under its flagship Akal Academies program, providing modern, value-based education to nearly 75,000 students across rural areas of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, the society has decided to construction of 8 classrooms (5 at Akal Academy Habri and 3 at Akal Academy Bhunsla) in the State of Haryana.The detail of Tender is as per following:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. The bidder must have a minimum annual turnover of ₹1.5 Crore in any of the last 2 financial years
  2. Must possess valid GST, PAN, and bank details.
  3. Should have sufficient manpower, machinery, and technical capability.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Project Duration: The entire work must be completed within 11 (eleven) months from the date of issue of Work Order.
  2. Site Supervision: The contractor shall deploy at least one qualified Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience on-site full time during the project execution period.
  3. Boarding & Lodging: All boarding, lodging, and local transportation arrangements for contractor’s staff, engineers, and labor shall be the contractor’s responsibility at their own cost.
  4. Security Deposit: security amount of 5% of each running bill shall be deducted and retained by The Kalgidhar Society. This amount shall be released after 3 months of successful completion of the project, subject to satisfactory performance and defect liability clearance.

APPROVED MATERIAL BRANDS

All materials shall be of approved make and conform to relevant IS standards. The following brands are mandatory (or equivalent, subject to approval by Engineer-in-Charge):

  • Cement: Ambuja / Ultratech / ACC
  • Steel Reinforcement: Jyoti/Bhartam/TATA/SAIL
  • Sanitary Wares: Cera / Hindware
  • Paints: Asian Paints / Nerolac / Berger
  • Tiles: Kajaria / Somany / Johnson / Orient
  • Electrical Fittings: Havells / Anchor / Polycab
  • Pipes (Plumbing): Supreme / Astral / Finolex

WORK QUALITY

All materials shall be new, first quality, and subject to inspection and approval. Substandard or rejected materials must be removed from site immediately at the contractor’s cost.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payments will be made against verified and measured work certified by the Engineer-in-Charge.

LIQUIDATED DAMAGES

Delay in completion beyond the stipulated period will attract a penalty of 0.5% of contract value per week, up to a maximum of 10% of total project cost.

WORK INSPECTION

Regular inspection shall be carried out by The Kalgidhar Society’s representative. Any non-conformance noted must be corrected immediately by the contractor.
