ABOUT THE AKAL FARM

Akal Farm, located at Vallandai in Ramanathapuram district, Tamil Nadu, is a strategic agricultural development project operating under the broader vision of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, focusing on sustainable land use, resource optimization, and rural livelihood enhancement. The project was developed on arid and degraded land through systematic soil reclamation, adoption of micro-irrigation (drip and sprinkler systems), rainwater harvesting, and scientifically planned crop diversification.
