Children and young people are at significant risk on our roads. Keeping this in mind Road Safety competition was held at Akal Academy Salamkhera on 10th Dec’14. Three students from III-V and three Students from VI-VIII were selected for Block Level Competition which was held on 13.12.14.It Provides a great platform for schools to get involved and share important road safety messages with their pupils and the wider community. Road safety for children is a major social concern.
Students of different school participated. Our Student bagged the First position and were selected for the District Level. In District level competition, Students of III-V class got 2nd position. Simran Kaur, Anshnoor Kaur, Avnoor Singh were awarded certificates & prizes for their performances.
Road safety education plays an important role in shaping the attitudes and behaviours of children and young people – ensuring they become responsible drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists.
