To commemorate & appreciate the Labour Day and thank the selfless service of the the academy workers, who work with full dedication to ensure the hygiene and security of school, the students of AKAL ACADEMY KAJRI U.P. celebrated Labour Day on Friday 1 May, 2015.

Students of Akal Academy Kajri Celebrated Labour Day with a Warm Note of Gratitude!

The celebrations began with a speech by students, which highlighted the role of the cleaning staff in school life. Later the students took charge of the school and gave surprising time off to the entire assisting staff including gardeners, peons and sewadars by cleaning the school campus, watering the plants, weeding the school lawn, and preparing tea for the hardworking assisting staff of the school.

Students of Akal Academy Kajri Celebrated Labour Day with a Warm Note of Gratitude!

Mr. Ashok Singh Guleria acquainted the school children with the history behind Labour Day celebrations. Ajay House Master Mr Harpal Singh Mr Vattanpreet Singh ( HM Abhai House) shared some working moments with the children The Principal Mrs Simran Kaur Thind too encouraged the children to realize the importance and role of working people in our daily life.

Then some students expressed their love and gratitude by serving them with their evening tea and presenting their tokens of love to uncles and aunties which they gladly received. Role played by the children of different working groups as of gardener, Sweeper, Farmer, Factory workers etc. was highly appreciated by the teachers.

The day ended on a warm note of gratitude by the students which was much applauded & appreciated by the staff & workers.
