From Visitor to Visionary – A Journey of Purpose at Baru Sahib

When Giving Back Becomes Life-Changing

Every year, Saheb Kaur from The USA visited Baru Sahib to attend the Akal International Gurmat Camp. This time, her purpose was different—she came to give back and nurture young minds.

While teaching at Akal Academy Baru Sahib, the experience turned deeply wholesome and transformative. What began as an act of contribution soon became a journey of personal growth.

She came to teach, but left transformed.
As she shared, “The children taught me more than I could ever teach them.”

At Baru Sahib, education goes beyond books. It builds values, shapes purpose, and nurtures future leaders.

Saheb Kaur came from the USA to teach the children of Akal Academy Baru Sahib and left saying they had taught her even more. If their spirit moves you too, sponsor a child’s education through Educate To Save and stay connected to a young learner’s journey long after your visit ends. And if your organisation wants its CSR funding to nurture more young minds like these, partner with us and help bring value-based education to more rural children.
