Akal Academy Gomtipul Celebrated the Birth Anniversary of 8th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji also called “Bal Guru and Bala Pritam” as he is most youngest Sikh Guru and for a short period of time. Guru Sahib being a child possessed high attainments and he taught with all the confidence to those who asked him about the truth.

The students of Akal Academy Gomti celebrated the birth day of Guru Sahib ji by performing various programs in the Shri Darbar Sahib. The program began with the daily routine of Nitnem Sahib by all the students of the Academy. After Nitnem, students recited Bani of “Shri Sukhmani Sahib” and then few other programs were conducted which included Poems, Speech and Shabad Kiratan.

Master Parminder Singh of Class V- recited the Shabad “ Dharshan Dekh Jiva Gur Tera” on Harmonium which created spiritual vibrations among all the students. Later, Rajpreet Kaur along with her friends sang a Poem” Aj Jagat Nehal Hoya”. Anushka Mishra delivered a speech on the Biography of Shri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji. In her speech she told the life of Guru Sahib along with incidents that took place in his life. Similarly Manjot Singh of Class IX also delivered a speech in Punjabi, about Guru Sahib‘s life.

At the end of the Samagam, Ardas was done by Gurleen Kaur of XI A and Hukamnama was taken by Harkirat Singh of Class VIII A. Guru ji ki Deg (Kardha Prashad) was served to all the Students and staff of the Academy. The whole sewa was done by the students of Class XII with Co-operation of the Staff.
