A picture is worth a thousand words and display Boards are a great tool to present that picture. Students learn 80% more by seeing a picture than the abstract knowledge and they learn 100% more when they are involved in that activity.
Keeping this idea in mind to teach students about saving the environment an Inter House Display Board Making Competitionwas organized in Academy Academy, Dhanal Kalan. In this competition four houses were involved viz. Amul House, Atul House, Ajai House, Abhai House. Each house was to decorate their Display Boards on the given theme ‘Save Environment’.
The Criterion of the judgment was:
- Originality / Creativity
- Content
- Relevance
- Over all presentation
The students involved did a fantastic job. The house boards were decorated with collages, posters and inspiring quotes made by the students under the guidance of the teachers. The whole competition was organized by the Activity Incharge Ms. Shikha. The winners Atul House at first, Ajai House at second and Amul and then Abhai won appreciations and certificates of appreciations for their out of the box creations.
