This inter-academy meet was organized in Akal Academy, Kajri. It was conducted between the Boys of VI to XII Class. The programme was commenced at 9:30 a.m just after the Nitnem. At the very outset of the programme holy hymn was recited by the students in the remembrance of divine power. After this there was march past and all the participants took the oath.

Initially, long distance races (1500 mtrs) took place of all the categories which was followed by several field events (shot-put, discuss, high jump and long jump). At 11.00 a.m refreshment was provided to all the participants by the Management, which include fruits, biscuits and Energy drinks. Till 1:00 p.m we had the first session of the meet. Lunch time was from 1:00 p.m to 1:30 p.m which was provided to all the participants and organizing teachers. After the lunch break, second session started with 800 mtr race of class VI and shot-put of U-19 Boys. Every event took place under the sharp observance of the track and field judges.

From the beginning Gomti took a major lead from Kajri. By the end of the meet 4×100 relay races were conducted and field events were completed with the triple jump of U-19 Boys. The whole sports meet took place under the supervision of Mr R. R. Khan( P.E.T, A. A. Gomti) and Mr Anupam (P.E.T, A. A, Kajri). The overall result was Kajri banged second position by 166 points and Gomti won the competition by securing 343 points. The following participants of A.A.Gomti also took individual’s championship:-

Akal Academy Gomti lift up overall championship from Class Nur to XII by leading 980-646 = 334 points in both group of Boys & Girls. A A Kajri stood IInd & A A Telepura stood IIIrd. Mr R R Khan (PET) is coach of A A Gomti and Ms Sandeep Kaur (PTI) coach of A A Gomti. Special thanks to Mrs Pawan Sahni, Principal Akal Academy, Gomti for making extra efforts to achieve Ist position in Sports for AA Gomti players.
