Another milestone for Akal Academy Schools: Now featured in LIMCA Book of Records

After winning many laurels for their unique and value-driven education model, the Chain of Akal Academy Schools is now featured in LIMCA Book of Records for a massive rally against an important social issue “Drug Abuse”.

Continuing the appreciation and recognition momentum, Akal Academy schools have set a new record whereby 15,000 students of Akal Academy Schools from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh rallied on roads against Drug Abuse. This rally was done on 18th December, 2017 and succeeded in reaching out and motivating 4 lakh people on their way. A total of 1400 km was covered that day; which is no ordinary feat. The achievements of Akal Academy School are as special and socially enriching as their education model.

Akal Academy schools are run by The Kalgidhar Trust that also runs 2 drug-de-addiction centres. These centres carryout awareness campaigns with the help of the students of akal academy schools for making people at grass root level aware of the hazards of Drug Addiction on self, family and society
