Bhupinder Singh completed his primary school from Akal Academy Bharyal Lahri and his Ninth Grade from Akal Academy Baru Sahib. He hails from Gurdaspur District of Punjab. Currently he is pursuing his second year of graduation from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College in Chandigarh.
This year he was selected as an Indian Delegate/Ambassador to Singapore under Youth Exchange programme in NCC.
100 NCC cadets are selected from all over India for this programme & were detailed for different countries like Russia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan etc.
He was detailed for Singapore from 19 Nov-28 Nov’15 in a delegation of 20 Cadets and 4 armed forces officers.
He was the Only SIKH Cadet among all 101 cadets. It was a moment of great pride when he presented Gatka at a cultural presentation in Singapore. It was appreciated by all the cadets of different countries present there.
Also month of January, Republic Day Camp was held in Delhi where his team of NCC directorate came first all over India and he was honoured with the Championship Banner from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was also lauded by the Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki for his achievements.
