Students of Akal Academy, Bilga participated in all India Inter Public Schools Shabad Gayan Competition on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was conducted at Guru Nanak Public School, New Delhi.
Total of 25 schools participated in it. It was based on classical raags from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s bani.
Students brought laurel to the academy by bagging the third position in the competition.
Participants were awarded with cash prize of 5100, participation prize 2100, shield and certificates. Principal congratulated the winners and appreciate the efforts made by music teacher S. Davinder Singh.
