Born in a farmer family of village Rayia, Bathinda, young Jeevan Singh always found a certain pride in playing chor-police games. And he was always fond of playing the Police and serving the society. Who knew that the child’s dreams would one day turn into reality?
After completing his class XII CBSE from Akal Academy Bhadaur, with flying colours, Jeevan Singh studied at Punjabi University, Patiala and finally did his Ph.D from this prestigious institution. Destiny had other designs for him and he appeared for the Delhi Police Exams and again cleared it remarkably. The young man was staring at a future that was always etched on the back of his mind since childhood.
Jeevan Singh gives the credit to this success to his faculty and guiding forces at Akal Academy Bhadaur, who shaped his future and embedded him with great educational and spiritual values.
This always impressed his college friends and they looked at him with a lot of respect.
Jeevan does not believe in going for greener pastures abroad. He loves his country and opposes ” Brain Drain “. So Jeevan carries a badge of the Inspector with pride and the thought of serving the nation excites him. He feels inspired by the lives of sikh martyrs, who never uttered a sigh while laying down lives for the nation!
He says “Thanks to the Akal Academy for imbibing him with all the values in his childhood and teenage.” He feels that it is for his teachers that now he is able to walk out in the darkness of the world to spread some light while performing his duty. It is a happy moment for the entire Sikh community as more and more examples of these jewels come forward to inspire a better generation.
