ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਅਭਿਸ਼ਾਪ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੇ ਘਰ ਚ ਇਕ ਮਨਹੁਸੀਅਤ ਛਾ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ| ਜਿਥੇ ਇਕ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਚ ਟਪ ਕੇ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਓਥੇ ਇਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਲੇੰਦੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ|

ਅਜਕਲ ਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹੀ ਕੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਕੁੜੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਚਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਭਰੂਣ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ|

ਅਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਘਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਿਮੇਦਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਘਰੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਧੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਧਾ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ| ਫੇਰ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਅਭਿਸ਼ਾਪ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ|

ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਰੂਣ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਡੀ ਕੁਰੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਟਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਚ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੀੜਾ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ|

ਨਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਚੋਂ ਇਹ ਕੁਰੀਤੀ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਿੱਕੇ-ਨਿੱਕੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਖਤੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਂਠ ਲਾਗੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਰੇ ਲਾਂਦੇ ਘੁਮੇ|

ਨਸ਼ੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਬੂਢੇ, ਅਧੇੜ੍ਹ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਬਲਿਕ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਛਡਿਆਂ| ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੇਨਵਯੁਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਕਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ| ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਇਹਨੇ ਆਦੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਪਤੀਬੰਨਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ| ਬਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਦਸੀਆਂ|

ਨਿੱਕੇ – ਨਿੱਕੇ ਬਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੋ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ| ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇਇਸ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਫਤ ਕੀਤੀ|

ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਦੇ ਉਪਲਕਸ਼ ਚ ਕਰਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਕੋਲਿਆਂਵਾਲੀਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿੱਤਾI ਨਿੱਕੇ-ਨਿੱਕੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ|

ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ| ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਣੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਸਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੋਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕੀਰਤਨ, ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ|

The new month of Maghi was welcomed in Akal Academy Gomtipul with the spiritual vibes in the hearts. The programme was organised by the management both in the Darbar Sahib and in the ground. Initially the function was commenced in the Darbar Sahib with the completion of Akhand Path’s of local Sangat which was followed by the several religious poems and hymns sung by the students of Akal Academy Gomtipul.

The festival of Maghi is the most awaited occasion in the Gomtipul region and it is celebrated on a very grand scale every year. Likewise other years, this year also the preparations started well in advance. Right after Diwali the unbreakable chain of Akhand Paths started which continued till the day of Maghi. People from local area along with the students of the school collectively took the sewa of Sehaj Path.

On 12/01/2016 Nagar Kirtan was organized on a very large scale by Gomtipul Gurdwara Management. It started at 10:00 a.m. from the Gurdwara Sahib of Gomtipul and reached the Gurdwara Sahib of Puranpur. In the Nagar Kirtan shabad was recited by the students and Raagi Jatha.

The main Samagam held on 14/01/16 in the playground. Firstly the students of the school recited holy shabad to pay a pious tribute to the supreme sacrifice of 40 Mukhtas who laid down their lives in the fight against evil. Different eminent personalities came from different areas to share their views and enlighten the Sangat with the facts and great history of Sikhism.

The distinguished personalities are:

S. Jagjeet Singhjee (Kaka Veerji) from Baru Sahib

Kathawachak Baba Pal Singhji and Kavishri Jatha.

Besides this the programme of partaking Amrit was also organised in the school premises in which many people become baptized. Along with the recitation of Shabad Kirtan Langar was served to the Sangat. Maghi was celebrated with the owe to be honest towards our values and human mankind.

There’s a huge push across our whole school board to incorporate technology into the classroom as much as possible. It’s the way of the future and every educational institution needs to embrace it and teach the kids to use it from a young age.

A quiz was conducted at Akal Academy, Bilga by HT group naming Net Champs. An interactive session was organized to update & access the rural kids on the basic knowledge of Internet.

The knowledge of internet can help transform the way students learn about our world.

It was presented by Ms. Gazal and Mr. Sandeep Sharma members of HT group. A lecture was delivered by Ms. Gazal based on Internet. She briefed the students advantages and disadvantages of internet in an impressive way. This competition was conducted under the supervision of Activity Incharge Ms. Inderjit Kaur.

First quiz was conducted between fifth and sixth-grade students divided into four teams.
Second quiz was conducted between Seventh and Eighth-grade students divided into four teams.

Students answered all the questions actively.

Winners were awarded with kit bags and certificates. Prizes were distributed by Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni.
At last Principal Madam thanked the HT team members for conduction of quiz and for knowledge about internet.

ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਬਿੱਲਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ HT ਗਰੁਪ ਨੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ “ਨੈੱਟ ਚੈਂਪ ਕ਼ੁਇਜ਼”|

ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਲਈ, ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋ ਹੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਅਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਡੀ ਮੰਗ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮੁਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਕਲ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਜਮਾਤਾਂ ਤੋ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧ ਤੋ ਵਧ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਮੁਹੀਮ ਚਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ|

ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ HT ਗਰੁਪ ਨੇ ਬੀਬੀ ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਬਿੱਲਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ “ਨੈੱਟ ਚੈਂਪ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ” ਰ੍ਖਇਆ ਜੋ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਦੇ ਮੂਲਭੂਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਰਸਪਰ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿੱਤਾ |

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾਂ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਦੇ ਫਾਇਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ| ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਬੀ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ |

ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਬੀਬੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਵਲੋਂ Kit bags ਅਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ|

Akal academy Gomti celebrated the Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj in the Darbar sahib.
Guru Gobind Singh fought against the injustice and religious fanaticism. The Mughal emperors Of Medieval India were determined to convert all the infidels to Islam. So in order to fulfill their cherished dream they resorted to all kind of crimes & injustice. They forcibly converted hundred to Islam.

Guru ji openly flouted the orders of the emperors and gave birth to a new faith known as Khalsa on the day of Baisakhi in Anandpur Sahib. Guru ji inspired the suppressed ones not to bear the torture and injustice but learn how to stand firm against oppression.

Each Student paid a heartfelt tribute to Great Guru with their enthusiastic participation.

The program started with the recitation of a poem “ Khalsa” by Harkirat Singh of class VI followed by Shubpreet Kaur of class VII who chanted the glories of Guru Sahib

Poem “Has Has ke shahidi pa giya” a poem by Novjot Singh of class 2nd depicted the hardships the Guru Sahib had to face while fighting against injustice.

Pratap Singh and Jashanpreet Singh recited religious poems ”we are the Khalsa, Mighty Mighty Khalsa.
Students of class 12th sang a beautiful Kawishri devoted to Dashmesh Pita.

Ratinder kaur of class VII delivered a very touching speech on the life of Guru Sahib and how his sacrificed his entire family to protect our religious freedom.

The programme concluded with the Ardaas followed by Guru Ka Langar. The teachers appreciated the efforts of the students for participating whole heartedly.

Principal Mrs Pawan Sahni motivated the children to be always true to their religion & uphold the spirit of Khalsa.

Students of Akal Academy Theh Kalandhar displayed their colours of devotion on the 349th Prakash Purab.

Spectacular Gatka Performances displayed by the students was the major attraction for all the devotees. Demonstration of Gatka Skill by youth enthralled the passers-by. Dressed up in their traditional attires, the students chanted religious hymns all along the holy procession to mark the auspicious day.

The atmosphere was filled with holy vibes and sanctity.
