I am Rajbeer Kaur from Subhash Nagar, New Delhi, alumnus of Eternal University’s Akal College of Engineering & Technology (ACET), Baru Sahib – batch 2012, currently working as a .NET Software Programmer at ‘PYRAMID IT CONSULTANTS’ in Noida where I got placed through University’s Campus Placement Services post completion of my B.Tech in Computer Science.

The beginning of my relationship with Baru Sahib was spontaneous; whilst I was in search for a good college after my schooling, I randomly happened to discuss about colleges & courses with a friend’s mother, who happens to be working as a volunteer with The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib’s Office based in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. She provided me little details about the place & I got so inspired and taken that I no longer had to make my mind amongst other options. In no time I was filling the admission application forms & got myself admitted there.

The place was fantastic beyond my expectations, for everything that I experienced at Baru Sahib’s Eternal University was very different from the environment that I had previously seen at several colleges of Delhi including Delhi University’s top notch campuses; the discipline, the temperament of students, the unique atmosphere and the exquisite mix of Scientific & Spiritual education…I had seen it no place else before.

4 Years in midst of the valley of Divine Peace & I am an entirely changed person now, especially on context of Gurbani & Nitnem – all of it got into my routine because of Baru Sahib. I often recall my teachers, especially Tejinder Sir, Rajiv Thakur & Mandeep Sir who taught me about computers, microprocessors & Java programming respectively.

Belonging to a middle class family where my father is a mechanical engineer and mother a housewife, it wasn’t easy for my parents to support sending me away from home for studies, but, all thanks to god & blessings of Baru Sahib that everything went on smoothly; now my family is happy since I am well settled with a great job.

Currently, I plan to stick to Job & gain enough experience & finances before I can plan my Masters. For the society, I feel there should be support from everyone for more scholarship programs for needy students, especially girl students, so I would appeal all the readers to do the best in their capacities for this noble cause.

Also, I would suggest & recommend parents to fully support & send their sons & daughters to Baru Sahib as the environment there is very safe & secure so they will never need to worry. My heartfelt thanks to all members connected to Eternal University & Baru Sahib.
Gur-Fateh!
