18 yr old Amandeep Singh made sure his passion drives him all way to Success!
Amandeep Singh hailing from Gujarat bags the Bronze Medal at the 8th International Wushu Championship held at Georgia, Russia.
He had keen interest in sports ever since he was of 12 Years. His Grandfather being the ex Wrestler in the Indian Army, he was born with the very instinct in his blood. His passion for sports & fitness brought him closer to wrestling, weight lifting and strength building activities. He has been a State Level Champion of Gujarat as well as a District Champion in Judo Karate.
After excelling in these activities, he developed deep interest in Wushu, which is a Chinese martial art & an Olympic Recognized Sport. He made sure he excelled it with his passionate spirit.
After passing through the Gujarat State Coaches Seminar , He was appointed as a Coach of Gujarat State Sub-Junior Team at Haryana.
He became the First Fighter of Gujarat to bag Bronze Medal in the Federation Cup of India Wushu Championship conducted at Hyderabad. He also represented his state in the 22nd Senior National Wushu Championship conducted in Bihar.
His journey of Success lead his step by step to one achievement after the other. He won the Silver Medal in Wushu Discipline at the First Student Olympic National Games at Aurangabad.
He proud moment followed his footsteps when he was selected in Indian National Wushu Team to be a part Of 8th International Wushu Championship to be held Georgia.
The very glorious chapter was then linked to his list of achievements when he was decorated with the Bronze Medal, hanging all round his neck, a proud representation of his community & for his Nation INDIA. He was the Youngest Player of The Indian Team in the senior category.
