Swaran Singh, a resident of Surrey is a Guinness Book of World Record Holder with the longest beard. Singh’s beard is measured at 2.36 meters or 7.7 3/4 ft.
He strongly supported the cause and signed the hardcopy of the signature sheet during his visit to Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib.
The petition was put before Sikh masses at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib and those who did not use internet were asked to join the campaign by signing on paper sheets.
