The Kalgidhar Trust run Akal Academy located at village Chugawan, to celebrate the occasion of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Janam Prakash Utsav.

During the event, Academy’s young student’s Shabad Kirtan performance delighted everyone in the ‘Sangat’ whilst the choreography performance by a group of students on importance of Sikhi Swaroop got everyone’s attention.

On the occasion, the Academy’s Director Harjeet Singh spoke about ideology of Dharmic Vidya training alongside study and research in languages other than Punjabi for the purpose of spreading the message of Sikh-faith; he also stated about academies achievements and success so far.

Also during the event, academy’s Principal Harsharanjeet Kaur alongside Harjeet Veerji, presented prizes to the children in presence of several prominent invited guests, coming from the village, Gurdwara sahib & vicinity.
