The Nagar-Kirtan on the martyrdom of Guru Teg Bhadur Singh Ji , held last month observed huge participation of special little guests from Dhudial, who made the event a huge success with their innocent performances explaining the history behind the day.

The students marched while singing Shabads following the Bahadurgarh-to-Moti Bagh Gurdwara Route of the Nagar-Kirtan. Several teachers also accompanied this young crowd of enthusiasts that stood distinct amongst all participating students from different city schools.

“Appreciating the little ones through awards that they can keep with them forever, acts like a motivation that no words can express. Thus, to make this event all the more special for them we decided to show our appreciation through awards, for them to relive these moments in future,” said Headmistress, Mrs. Gurjeet Kaur of Akal Academy, Dhudial under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib.

We salute the efforts, courage and spirits of both teachers and the students for coming from a distance to grace the celebrations of the city on an occasion of such great spirits.
