Akal Academies provides its students a platform to explore their potential way above academics. It committed to a balanced education with a wide range of competitive and non-competitive sporting activities for every level of interest and ability. Inter-House Tennis Tournament was organized involving students of different houses to participate with a healthy team spirit and a sense of pride in representing your team. Tennis is played by millions of recreational players and is also a popular worldwide spectator sport.

The aim of this competition is to provide players of all abilities with the opportunity to compete in an Inter-house tennis competition, with more successful teams able to progress on a pathway to Finals.Students are given the opportunity to go to CBSE clusters and all India tennis tournament ( AITA ) participation every year. Students were also given certificates, medals and trophies.

In addition to physical education classes as part of the curriculum, students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular sport. Every student is encouraged to participate in these events for her House to the best of her ability. Akal Academy, Chunni also encourages strong House spirit along with academic excellence. A Schools Tennis Competition Framework has been developed to provide simple, inclusive and progressive schools competition opportunities.

It provides players with regular team competition over a set time period. It gives players a chance to be part of a team and enjoy the social element. Qualified coaches are provided for training in lead up to the competitions. Tennis coaching is also offered as an extra-curricular activity with classes run before school starts, during school breaks and after school.

The event took place and a very pleasant and exciting atmosphere was created all over the campus. Such competitions teach students the value of teamwork and how to be gracious in both victory and defeat.
