Plantation drive was conducted in Akal Academy Bilga to sensitise the masses about the need to have a clean and green environment. It was conducted by Go Green club, aimed at capturing the imagination of young school children regarding environmental issues and grooming responsible citizens with an aptitude for ensuring sustainable development.
It took place under the supervision of S. Ajinder Singh (Head of Go Green club), Ms. Jasvir kaur, Ms. Inderjit Kaur and Ms. Palvi Kapoor. Members of go green club Mr. Anuj Kumar, Ms. Kiran Bala, Ms. Amanjot, Ms. Gurjot Kaur and Ms.
Navjeet Kaur also motivated the students to grow more and more plants. They also deliver speech telling about the importance of trees in the classes. Students planted many shady trees, fruit trees and ornamental plants. Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni told the Students about importance of trees and motivated them to grow more and more trees.
