An education trip was organized by Akal Academy Dhugga Kalan to science city at Kapurthala and wet land Kanjli.
69 students and 10 staff members along with Headmistress Ms. Parminder Kaur went to this trip.

Students recited shabad and path all the way. First visit was made to Wet land Kanjli which is a place which preserves rich biodiversity comprising aquatic, mesophytic and terrestrial flora and fauna and is mentioned in the record of UNESCO.

Student understood the important of biodiversity and how killing birds & species disturb the ecological balance.

This was followed by trip headed to the science city at Kapurthala, on the way back students were provided with refreshments.

Students were filled with enthusiasm when they reached at the entry gate of science city. It was an enriched learning experience as they witnessed working of many scientific models, shows etc.

They understood the entire growth process of a human being and saw the working of the Universe with the help of attractive laser show.

They were very excited to witness the space suit, various models of missile and statues of dinosaur. Students have the opportunity to observe many things that are not available at school which enhances their knowledge.

Teachers provided information base for students to understand the concepts.

Students learnt many things on this excursion with practical experience. Such experiences help in educational growth of the students.

A day full of curiosity, exciting experiences & fun where students learnt in informal environments.
