Punjab Spell Bee championship was organized by GNA University Phagwara. 40 Schools all over Punjab participated in it. 6 Students, Sandeep Kaur 10+2, Prabhjot Kaur 10+2, Jasmeen Kaur 10+1, Prabhveer Kaur 10+2, Karamjit Kaur 10+2, Sharanjit Kaur 10+2 of Akal Academy Bilga participated in it. Our students Karamjit Kaur and Sharanjit Kaur were First runner up of this competition. They were awarded with cash prize of 31000/- , Trophy and Certificates. There were three different rounds. First round was online, 2nd round was semi final round . Then final round was there. Students were accompanied by teacher Jasbir Singh Thakur.
Chief guest were Dr. Om Gauri Dutt Sharma from Jalandhar Dordarshan,
Dr. Tejinder Kaur from Patiala University and Surinder Seth.
While reaching school winners were welcomed by principal and staff members. Principal Harpreet Kaur Sahni congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts made by students and teachers.
