IBADAT’16 “A Spiritual Saga” A programme of the Youth, for the youth, by the youth held on 3rd April, 2016 at Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura was a great success. The highlights of this programme is as under :-

Anahad Bani Jatha performed Kirtan on Tanti Saaz. They recited ”Bisar gyi sab taat paraiee”.

There was a performance by Taal Baaz, team of Yogesh Bir Singh and Prabh Simran Kaur. They gave a concert of different musical instruments and the beat was so refreshing and soothing that everyone present in the auditorium was swaying to their tune.

Adol Passionates Team performed a skit “Dastaan” narrating the present day situation of “Women” focusing on vices prevailing in the society like Dowry.

The success story of Rampreet Kaur was shown on the stage. A baby girl thrown in a dustbin, was taken care of by Baba Iqbal Singh ji and she has been brought up at Baru Sahib. She is now a very well educated girl and she told about herself and how she found love and care under the guardianship of Baru Sahib. Her story was so moving that all the audience present in the Auditorium were in tears.

All the little kids present in the auditorium who were dressed in Sikhi Saroop and wearing Dumale and dastaar were called upon the stage and were presented with gifts to promote awareness about sikhi in the youngsters.

Taren Kaur , the star of the day, performed three shabads. Youngster were very much influenced and she spread a message in the youth that in this day and age despite of being a guitarist she is so attached with Sikhi and Guruji that she is singing shabads with Guitar and her voice was so calming, devotional and full of life that all the audience sitting in the auditorium were mesmerized with her performance and they were spell bound .

The Chief Guest ACP Ms. Surinderjeet Kaur was awarded “Guest of Honour” by Senior Volunteers of Baru Sahib.

This event was very much appreciated by audiences and was so impressive that people asked for repeat performances.
