Gurpurab was celebrated by the students of Akal Academy Khera with zeal and enthusiasm keeping the sanctity and divinity of the day alive. The occasion was marked with carrying of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and Shabad Kirtan rendered by the students.

The day was celebrated in the spiritual light of the Great guru!

An interactive quiz to practise English Vocabulary was conducted to enable the students to have an edge over the language. Students were divided into various teams and the winning teams were given appreciation and prizes. Such activities are conducted to indulge the students in interactive sessions for practising, reinforcing and revising english vocabulary.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 545th birthday was celebrated with great respect and fervor at Gurudwara Sahib of Akal Academy Gomtipul. The program began with the bhog of 12 Shri Sehaj paths and 3 Shri Akhand paths by the students and Staff members of Akal Academy Gomtipul.

After the bhog , various programs were performed by the students. Kids recited poems and narrated stories related to the life of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Kavishri and other poems were sung by the students of higher classes. Shabad kirtan was performed by the senior boys and girls which filled Naam Ras in the entire sangat.

There was participation of Ragi Jath which came all the way from Punjab for celebrating Gurpurab. Kathavachak Bhai Rajvinder Singh Ji threw light on the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.

The overall program was highlighted to spread the message of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj

“ Kirat Karo , Naam Japo, Vand Shako”

At the end of the program, the students and staff members who participated in the Akhand Sahib were awarded “Siropao” as regard of respect and appreciation.

Arrangements for Langar were also made for all the students, staff members and the Sangat which lasted for the entire day. All the students and staff members showed love towards their Guru and performed the sewa with full dedication.

Dastar Bandi competition was held areas near village Patter Kalan, keeping the Sikhi intact among the young generations. The impressionable minds are inculcated with the root values of Sikhism and are fed with importance of Dustars (turbans). There is an urgent need to make the upcoming youth aware and reminded of principles of Sikhism.

Akal Academy not only up brings their own students but uplifts the surroundings too. They are known as Quality Schools in Villages supporting Rural education along with spiritual & Modern Education.

Akal Academy Chak Bhai ke celebrated the Birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji with lot of fervour and enlightenment. Gurmat quizzes were organised to indulge the interest of students back to the glorious Sikh History. The students were brimmed with precious knowledge and were enlightened with the spiritual lives about the ten Gurus.

The winning teams took appreciation and awards for their participation in the Gurmat quiz.

The gaiety &sanctity of the sacred day was well maintained by inspiring speeches by the teachers and the Principal.

The students sang religious hymns from the holy Guru Granth Sahib and the campus.

The students attired in white, recited hymns, poems and gave speeches spreading the divine message of universal brotherhood of Guru Sahib.

Serenity floated in the air and the day was celebrated keeping the sanctity alive. The inspirational life history and teachings of Guru Sahib were portrayed beautifully by the students.

With the blessings of Baba ji, Akal Academy Bhadaur celebrated Gurupurab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji on 6th November with great fervor and devotion. On this sacred day, Bhog ceremony of five Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was carried to the Pandal with complete ritual ceremonies.

The Religious activities were prepared by the students. The stage was conducted by students of nursery to +2 classes who represented Shabad, Speeches, Sakhies, in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Exhibition was organized, in which models of all the subjects, were displayed, prepared by the students.

Many well known personalities were invited to acknowledge the participation of the students. Students were honoured with prizes and certificates.

Langar was distributed among the Sangat. The atmosphere was filled with cheerfulness and liveliness.

To commemorate the Prakash diwas of Guru Nanak Dev ji , an Awareness camp was conducted at Guru Nanak Darbar, Ganganagar.

Students of Akal Academy Ganganagar and Daula spread awareness regarding various social evils like female foeticide and Drug Abuse along with motivating the attendants regarding importance about daily routine of Nitnem.

The contribution of the students in supporting the noble cause of eradicating the social evils as well as sharing their spiritual knowledge among masses was commendable.

The day was made more memorable and sacred for people as they pledged to give up on these habits and helped them seek Guru Sahib’s blessings!
