We are proud to announce that the Hon’ble Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) honored Baru Sahib with Souvenir and Certificate. 2 First stage design Solar Cooker Sheffler of 10 sq m were installed at Baru Sahib which can produce food for 100 persons.
This was installed free of cost by the Govt of MNRE. This is the first Sheffler in India which is installed at Baru Sahib and later developments will be carried on by the maker and Govt. to make it more efficient and sustainable.
Baru Sahib was declared as a Solar Village by HP Government.
It is performing well and the same system is installed at different places in India. Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) is a type of renewable energy (RE) that uses the sun’s energy to generate electricity and process heat.
CSP technology utilizes focused sunlight. CSP plants generate electric power by using mirrors to concentrate (focus) the sun’s energy and convert it into high-temperature heat. That heat is then channeled through a conventional generator.
