19th annual function of the Akal Academy Bilga was organized on 21st April 2016. It was executed successfully with the overall excellent management by the teacher on duty and students.

The guest of honour of this function was Dr. Davinder Singh (Secretary Akal Academies) from Baru Sahib. He was also accompanied by other dignitaries including S. Jagjeet Singh ji, Mr. R.S. Mehta, S. Davinder Singh (Delhi Paints), S. Gian Singh Ji, S. Ujagar Singh ji, Sewadar Tarlok Singh Ji and PTA members.

The event was commenced with the Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path with salok from Ninth Mehala. Then the shabads, poems, Kavishri, Spiritual songs etc. were performed by the students enthusiastically. The function also proceeded further with the Annual Achievements Report by the worthy Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur Sahni and motivational speeches from Dr. Davinder Singh ji and S. Gian Singh ji. The function was also flourished with Shabad Kirtan using Tanti Saaj which was presented by the students of Baru Sahib. In the End the Dignitaries were appreciated by giving siropas and token of love from S. Gian Singh Ji.

The main attraction of the function was a corner garden made up old tyres which was appreciated a lot as old tyres were used usefully.

In the End Madam Baljeet Kaur conclude the function by paying thanks to respective Parents, Teachers, PTA members and other dignitaries. The overall function was outstanding and enjoyed by all parents, teachers and students. At the end langar was served to one and all.
