Akal Academy Kajri, Niranjanpur celebrated 544th Gurupurav with great devotion and enthusiasm. Five Akhand Paths were performed in Darbar Sahib along with Shabad-Kirtan. All the teachers participated whole heartedly and performed different duties assigned by the Principal to them. Children from Nursery to tenth class performed different devotional and spiritual programmes, with great enjoyment, which were very impressive and appraised by the parents. Parents attended the programme in good number.
Principal Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind, manager Mr. Jaswant Singh along with the teachers Mr. Pargat Singh, Mr. Gurcharan Singh, Mrs. Sunimol, Mr. Jagveer Singh & Mr. Avtar Singh Sandhu organized the event. Mr. Philip Xavier helped in performing different duties of audio, visual, etc. In the end the Principal, Mrs. Simran Kaur Thind thanked the parents, students and teachers for making the occasion memorable and also distributed Saropa to the student performers of the Academy. Divinity exhibition was held which was very impressive and knowledgeable. Parents, teachers and students enjoyed the refreshment stall, serving tea at the entrance. Finally “Guru ka Langer” was served to all.
