Akal Academy located in village Uddat Saidewala, distt. Mansa recently organized a Science workshop for all Teachers;  the head mistress of the school Gurjeet Kaur, also participated in the event to help teachers understand the latest teaching processes to teach in a more effective way.

During the workshop, several new techniques of teaching were demonstrated, including several drastic changes over conventional teaching methods bringing forth the scientific ways of teaching that were introduced to teachers wherein the trainers also taught them some of key-best practices like Inquiry based learning, Activity Based Learning, Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning, Experimental Based Learning , Cross curricular link method and lesson plan based on M.I’s (Mental Intelligence).

The expert training staff elaborated on each of the above techniques whilst explicating the benefits and relevance of them through live demonstrations. The workshop was observed in light of the Kalgidhar Trust relentless effort towards proving the best available schooling to rural children of India. “This was a good idea to teach the students through all other methods i.e. Story-telling, etc”, cited Ms. Gurjeet Kair, the Head Mistress.
